Brown snake spotted on Dalby's main street

AN EASTERN Brown snake is still hiding inside a Cunningham St garden.

The snake was spotted on the main street near Dick Smith Electronics at about 12.30pm.

It entered the drainage system in the garden outside the store.

Chris Hanna from Queensland Wildlife Conservation Service said locals walking by should be aware there was a snake nearby.

"Safety is a priority for us," Mr Hanna said.
