VIDEO: Dalby table tennis players take on robot

IT'S about four feet tall and comes armed with a mean swing.

The Dalby Table Tennis Club currently has the company of a robotic table tennis machine, along with Australian table tennis champion Paul Pinkewich.

Local players will be honing their technique under the guidance of Pinkewich today.

Club president Kim Bremner said club members would benefit from the Pinkewich's advice.

"It's great Paul can come up here from Sydney," Bremner said.

"The table tennis robot is the draw card."

You can check out the machine and gain insider tips from Pinkewich today from 1-3pm, 3.30-6pm and 7-9.30pm.

The robot is smashing table tennis balls at the Dalby Christian College MPC.

A gold coin donation is required to play the robot, while the rest of the day is free.

Phone Bremner on 0429 639 136 for more information.
