Drink driver almost hits Dalby police vehicle

A MAN who allegedly nearly ran into an unmarked police vehicle has been caught driving more than five times over the legal alcohol limit.

Dalby officers were driving along Branch Creek Rd at 1.45pm yesterday when a dual-cab utility vehicle almost ran them off the road.

The 53-year-old driver allegedly had a blood-alcohol reading of 0.270.

He is set to appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on August 19.
