UPDATE: A young female employee who was assaulted at Dalby Crazy Clarks this morning has been discharged from hospital.

Paramedics transported the woman to Dalby Hospital for observation after an offender hit her in the face with a money bag.

Crazy Clarks closed for an hour and a half this morning while police conducted forensic examinations.

 

EARLIER: Police are at the scene of a robbery at Dalby Crazy Clarks.

A male entered the rear of the store around 9am.

He assaulted the manager and grabbed cash bags from her before fleeing the scene in a dark coloured commodore with no number plates.

The manager described the man as fair in complexion and wearing dark clothing.

Dalby Police officers are currently searching the area for the offender.

The store is currently closed for further investigation.
