18-year-old accused of Anzac terrorist plot refused bail

BAIL has been denied to Harun Causevic, 18, who is accused of conspiring to commit a terrorist attack at an Anzac Day parade in Melbourne.

Magistrate Suzie Cameron decided Causevic posed "an extremely serious risk to public safety".

Senior figures from the Islamic Council of Victoria offered to mentor Causevic if he was released into the community.
