24yo arrested for public urination, bottle-o window smashed

Traffic offences

AT 12.45am on Friday morning, police located an unregistered and uninsured Toyota Camry being driven by a 17-year-old who was not the holder of a licence.

He will be appearing in Dalby Children’s Court.

Failure to supply

A 39-YEAR-old man was arrested at 9.15am on Friday after he was intercepted on the Old Warrego Highway.

He refused to supply a sample of saliva for a mandatory breath test while in his vehicle, and refused again to supply it at the Dalby station.

He was also unlicensed.

He will appear in Dalby Magistrates Court charged with failure to supply a sample of saliva on July 28.

Public urination

POLICE issued a Dalby man, 24, an infringement notice after they caught him urinating in public on the corner of Myall and Scarlett streets.

He will be appearing in Dalby Magistrates Court in the coming weeks.

Investigation ongoing

BETWEEN 2am and 3am on Saturday, a large window at BWS, worth $2500, was damaged and broken.

Police don’t believe it was an attempted break and enter, however investigations into the incident are ongoing.

Evasion offence

POLICE were forced to turn on lights and sirens while following a 21-year-old male driver on Saturday afternoon.

The driver was travelling northeast on Condamine street at 2pm when police attempted to intercept the vehicle.

The driver picked up his speed as police followed him.

He continued down Irvingdale road when police stopped the attempted intercept.

The driver was later intercepted and taken into custody.

He was released from bail later, and will appear in Dalby Magistrates Court for an evasion offence and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle on August 4.

Drink driver caught

A DALBY woman, 27, will appear in court this month on a drink-driving charge.

Police intercepted the woman driving a Ford Territory on Patrick street at 1am on Sunday.

The driver was subject to a mandatory breath test where she blew a reading of 0.149.

She will appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on July 21.

Possessing dangerous drugs

AT 9.25AM on Sunday, police attended a Mary street address in Dalby and as a result arrested a 22-year-old male.

He will be appearing in Dalby Magistrates Court in the coming weeks for charges relating to possession of a dangerous drug and possession of utensils.

Over the limit

A MAN driving a Holden Colorado was intercepted by police on Drayton street at 4.06pm on Sunday for a random breath test.

The 30-year-old blew a BAC of 0.11 and will be appearing in Dalby Magistrates Court in the coming weeks.
