60yo charged for alleged attempt to knock car off road while drunk
A MOTORIST will appear before Dalby court for a string of charges, including an alleged attempt to knock another vehicle off the road.
At 8.15pm on August 5, police intercepted a reckless driver on Bagot Street after reports indicated he had driven dangerously for nearly 20km.
Police will allege the 60-year-old Ranges Bridge man drove from his home along Drayton Street, and made attempts to knock another car off the road.
He was subject to a breath test and licence check after he was intercepted, and allegedly blew a BAC reading of 0.157.
He will appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on September 1, charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving UIL, and obstruct police.
