April prime time to get flu needle
ARM yourselves against the dreaded aches, pains and sniffles of the flu this winter by getting the flu vaccine.
Dr Kevin Lynch from Myall Medical Practice said the flu vaccine was a great way to protect yourselves.
"The flu vaccine lasts for about six months, so if you look at getting it in April, then you won't be vulnerable again until October,” Dr Lynch said.
"We're suggesting people use quadvalent which is a four-strand flu vaccine, rather than a three-strand.”
Flu vaccinations will be available at Myall Medical Practice in Dalby early in April, and Amcal and FSD pharmacies will also be administering the vaccination through at their flu clinics.
