A FORMER Miss Australia International beauty queen says her face has been disfigured by police using 'flash' grenades during a Hervey Bay drug raid.

Felicia Djamirze was asleep in bed with an her alleged bike associate boyfriend when the devices were lobbed into the bedroom.

She says a grenade exploded in her face, leaving her with third degree burns and the threatened loss of sight in her right eye, News Corp reported on Tuesday. She remained in hospital last night.

Detectives allegedly found 2kg of ice, a loaded handgun and a shotgun near the property at Susan River, last week.

Ms Djamirze, 28, and her boyfriend, alleged Rebels associate Dean Grant O'Donnell, were charged with drug trafficking, the Courier-Mail reported. She denies the allegations. 

Ms Djamirze's lawyer Chris Ford said police had refused to allow the first-year law student to properly treat her burns and she had waited 40 minutes for an ambulance.
