Bell State School pupils honoured

BELL State School held their awards night on Wednesday, with all students involved inthe entertaining ceremony.

Riley Leadbeatter took home the major prize of the night, securing the Western Downs Regional Council Secondary Dux Award.

Riley was also given the Year 10 English, physical education, mathematics and home economics awards.

Tahleyah Fullagar was awarded the Doris Nation Medallion for Primary Dux after being given the Year 6 LOTE prize.

Emily McGill and Sarah Morrow took out leadership awards, while Matthew Cuskelly received the Caltex All Rounder Award.

William Green was the star of Year 7, taking out seven subject awards.

Sage Gleeson and Emiley Nixon shared the spoils in Year 8, with 10 subject awards between them.

After a great academic year, the school is looking forward to an even better 2018.
