Boy transported to hospital after snake bite

AN AMBULANCE was called to a private property near Rayner St after a snake bit a young boy.

The family called the ambulance yesterday at about 7.36pm.

The snake allegedly bit the boy on the foot in a public place about a block away from the family house.

QAS said the boy was taken home after the incident, and ambulances were called shortly after. The boy was taken to Dalby Hospital in a stable condition.

According to QAS, the type of snake is unknown.
