CHILD ABDUCTION: Girl, 5, found by off duty police officer
UPDATE: 3.26PM: Mackay District Detective Inspector Ian Haughton said the five-year-old girl was found in a CBD shopping centre by an off duty police officer.
Det Insp Haughton said the girl had not been harmed.
Investigations are continuing.

UPDATE: 12.18PM: The Queensland Police Service has located the five-year-old girl who was abducted from South Mackay, a short time ago.

UPDATE: The Queensland Police Service is still seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a five-year-old girl who may be at risk after being taken from an address in South Mackay overnight.
She was taken sometime around 12.30am from a Tay Street residence.
She is believed to be with a man and a teenage girl and possibly travelling in a white 1997 Mitsubishi Magna (similar to the vehicle pictured).
She is described as Caucasian with short blonde hair and a fair complexion.
8.53AM: THE Queensland Police Service is seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a five-year-old girl who was taken from Tay St, South Mackay at 12.30am today and who may be at risk after being taken.
She is believed to be with man and a teenaged girl and possibly travelling in a car.
The car is described as being a white, older model Mitsubishi Magna, registration number 353-LVO.
The girl is described as Caucasian with short blonde hair.
