BREAKING: One dead in serious crash south of Roma

UPDATE 12.45PM: THE forensic crash unit is currently at the scene. 

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman confirmed police are currently identifying the cause of the accident. 

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and NSW Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene at about 12.30pm. 

 

UPDATE 12.15PM: QUEENSLAND Police have confirmed one person has died in a single vehicle crash in Mungindi earlier. 

Police officers from Mungindi, Dirranbandi and St George are currently at the scene. 

EARLIER:A VEHICLE has crashed into a tree at Mungindi a Queensland Police Service spokesman has confirmed.

A single vehicle crashed into a tree on Noondoo-Mungindi Road at 11am today and the condition of the driver is still unknown.

News Corp believes the patient has died.

"It's a serious traffic crash," the spokesman said.
