Cafe becomes a paddock of pink for fundraiser

WITH bras hanging from the ceiling and plenty of pink galore, Urban Paddock hosted its Pink and Perky fundraiser to raise money and awareness for cancer research on Sunday.

What was born out of a passion for women’s cancers and many stories of survival, the Pink and Perky fundraiser aimed not only to raise much-needed funds for cancer research, but to create a community where women who faced their own battles, or simply knew someone battling, could come together for a united cause.

Attendees were encouraged to don their best pink outfits for the Cancer Council’s most recent fundraiser as they enjoyed plenty of food, drinks, and live entertainment from Rip Cord.
