City gets spot in Europe after win over Swansea
A 4-2 WIN at Swansea City means Manchester City needs a point from its final game at home to Southampton on Sunday to secure second place in the English Premier League.
The victory, and Arsenal's 1-1 draw at Manchester United, also confirmed City would go automatically into next season's Champions League group stages with a guaranteed top-three finish.
Wilfried Bony (pictured) scored on his return to South Wales to complete the win after Swansea fought back from being 2-0 down to draw level at 2-2. The draw also virtually secured Arsenal a Champions League group stage spot.
The Gunners have a game in hand against Sunderland on Thursday morning, and if they win or draw that game, fourth-placed United will have to qualify for the group stages through a playoff.
A Sunderland success would take the battle for third into the final games on Sunday.
