Communication services down in Tara region

DAMAGE to a fibre optic cable near Kogan is currently affecting communication services in the Tara region.
Telstra have advised an excavator has been sent to the location to assess the damage and provide an update.
Tara Ambulance Services have so far not received any calls for help, but arrangements are being made for any calls to 000 to be forwarded to Tara CSC for an officer from Queensland Ambulance to answer.
