CRIME WRAP: Dalby school robbed while man allegedly found with knife

A DALBY school’s musical event was marred with the alleged theft of several stage items over the weekend.

Overnight on Friday, September 4 and September 5, offenders entered the Dalby Christian College’s multi-purpose centre through an unlocked door according to Dalby police.

The offenders allegedly stole several items, include two makeup kits, a hair straightener, and more.

Police executed a search warrant at a Dalby address on September 6 and located the items.

The two offenders will be counselled by child detectives in the coming weeks.

About 11.40pm on September 4 police intercepted a vehicle driving along Palmer St in Dalby.

A passenger of the car was detained for a search the vehicle, with a knife allegedly located by police.

A 20-year-old Dalby man was also issued with a notice to appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on October 6, charged with an unlawful possession of a weapon.
