CRIME WRAP: Four to face Dalby court after arrests

FOUR Dalby people will be facing the Magistrate after allegedly being caught committing crime within the district.

Driving offences

A 39-year-old Dalby man was intercepted by police driving along Owen St East in Dalby about 12.05am on October 25, where he was allegedly driving unlicensed.

He was arrested and charged, and given a notice to appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on November 24.

The plates of the man’s car were confiscated for seven days, with plate confiscation notices placed on the vehicle.

Police will allege the same morning the man’s ex-partner was intercepted driving the same vehicle with the stickers removed between 12.20am and 3.20am.

The 36-year-old Dalby woman was charged with two traffic related offences and was given a notice to appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on a later date.

Drug offences

Police intercepted a car driving along Curtis St on October 25, where the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was detained for a search.

It will be alleged a quantity of meth was discovered, leading to a 28-year-old Dalby man being charged with possessing dangerous drugs.

He will appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on November 24.

Drug driving

Another interception by police resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old Dalby man on October 26.

The man was subjected to a roadside drug test along Twine St about 8.30pm.

He returned a positive result for a relevant drug, and will face Dalby Magistrates Court at a later date.
