A 17-YEAR-old boy will appear before Dalby court for allegedly holding a knife up to a man before stealing his car keys, and bolting with the car.

Man bolts from police

AT 8.20pm on Sunday, Dalby police observed a man walking on Pratten Street, and attempted to stop him for a search.

Police will allege the man took off, and when police caught up with him, they searched him.

Police allegedly located an unauthorised drug for which he did not have a prescription.

He was subsequently arrested and given a notice to appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on September 8.

Drug-driver caught on highway

DALBY police intercepted a 27-year-old male on the Warrego Highway at 8.30pm on Sunday for a breath test and drug test.

The man allegedly returned a positive reading for an illicit drug in his saliva.

He was issued a notice to appear at Dalby Magistrates Court on October 6.
