Dalby court has new judge
A NEW judge has been appointed by the Queensland Government for the Dalby Magistrate Court.
Attorney-General Yvette D'Ath announced on Friday that Toowoomba based barrister Robbie Davies had been appointed to the bench of the Dalby court.
Mr Davies has been practising criminal law for 30 years, has been a Senior Crown Prosecutor and has experience in all three levels of court.
Mrs D'Ath said that Mr Davies brought a wealth of experience and the appointment would be welcomed by the town.
"Mr Davies is a hard-working barrister with extensive experience and I know he will be a welcome appointment to Dalby Magistrates Court,” Mrs D'Ath said.
Mr Davies will begin as Dalby Magistrate judge tomorrow.
