Dalby police investigating alleged street fight with hammer

INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into a disturbance where a man was allegedly assaulted with a hammer during a late night street fight.

Dalby police were called to a disturbance between two groups of people at the corner of Drayton and Nicholson St between 11pm — 12am on November 24.

During the altercation, a man in his 20s allegedly produced a hammer and struck another man, before allegedly hitting the driver side of someone’s car.

No charges have been laid at this stage, with investigations currently ongoing.
