Diana proves age is just a number

DIANA Wenham, 77 has recently returned from a university graduation ceremony in Sydney.

It wasn't her grandchild's, but in fact her own.

Mrs Wenham graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Diploma in Family History, having completed the course in just 18 months.

The long-time Dalby resident has been researching family history for over 40 years, and is truly fascinated by her ancestors and what they achieved in their life.

"I'm very interested in convicts and I've got quite a few on my family tree, the closest direct one was my great grandfather. That's how my interest in all this began,” she said.

"Completing this is one of my biggest achievements.”

Mrs Wenham is currently undertaking a five week course with Monash University.
