Domino’s Dalby to deliver jobs amid COVID-19 crisis
THE TEAM at Dominos Dalby are looking to keep locals employed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Franchisees Prakash Balsara and Sulay Patel are looking to hire at least six people to help deliver hot meals to the Dalby community due to the recent demand for food delivery services.
“We are humbled that an increase in customers putting their faith and trust in us means we can now give Dalby locals wanting to work that very opportunity in these unprecedented times,” Mr Patel said.
“I encourage those who may have recently lost their job due to the COVID-19 crisis to apply. We would love to expand our team as a delivery expert or in-store team member.”
Mr Patel praised the work of current staff saying that they were doing an amazing job, but that they needed more people to help safely prepare and deliver food to the community during this challenging time.
“Often our customers may be in forced or self-isolation, so the fact that we can offer zero contact delivery gives them that reassurance and peace of mind they are looking for.”
Mr Patel explained they were a people business – which means they put their team members, customers and communities first.
Mr Balsara said the store was taking plenty of precautions to keep team members and customers safe, including closing the customer dine-in area and offering zero contact pick ip and delivery.
“We know that it’s a privilege to stay open and delivering to the Dalby community during this time,” he said.
“We also know that a hot meal, friendly face and reassurance that a customer’s meal has been prepared taking all necessary precautions is more essential now than ever before – and we need friendly faces to deliver.”
