Drink driver pulled over by police on the way to McDonald’s
AFTER a night of drinking Guy Allan Partridge was on his way to McDonald’s for dinner when he was stopped by police, Dalby Magistrates Court heard.
Police prosecutor senior constable Jodie Tahana told the court Partridge was intercepted along Marble street at 11.45pm on April 25 for a random breath test.
Partridge admitted to drinking Woodstock premixed drinks and told police he was on his way to McDonald’s.
Partridge’s breath test returned a reading of 0.057.
Partridge pleaded guilty to driving over the general alcohol limit but not over the middle alcohol limit.
Magistrate Roger Stark fined the defendant $500 and disqualified him for one month.
