A MAN is in hospital with spinal injuries after crashing into a tree near the Emerald Racecourse this morning.
He sustained neck and spinal injuries after the car crashed on the Gregory Hwy, near Hawkins Place about 7.30am today, a Queensland Ambulance spokesman said.
"It doesn't appear to be life threatening," he said.
The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle and was taken to Emerald Hospital in a stable condition.
