Drug raid at Happy Herb Shop, Mackay
MACKAY Criminal Investigation Bureau Officer In Charge, Detective Senior Sergeant David Tucker said as part of a protracted drug investigation which was conducted by the state crime command, Mackay detectives seized more than 200 tins of a product.
No charges have been laid at this time, the product will be tested by police to establish whether it contains a dangerous drug or could be classifies as a synthetic dangerous drug.
There were six police involved in the raid.
IT IS believed that police seized several items in a raid at the Happy Herb Shop in Mackay's CBD.
One if the items seized was a computer.
This raid was a part of a major drug operation targeting the manufacture and distribution of dangerous synthetic drugs through commercial retail outlets across Queensland.
A DRUG raid is currently underway at Happy Herb Shop in Victoria St, Mackay.
Police can not currently confirm any details about the raid.
