Ergon Energy investigating power pole fire

TWO DALBY fire crews were required this afternoon to extinguish a blaze in town. 

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to a fire on a power pole at 4.40pm, at the intersection of Dixon St and Loudoun Rd. 

A QFES spokeswoman said crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly, and left after 5pm.

The spokeswoman said Ergon Energy remained on scene to assess any potential damage. 

Ergon Energy is not reporting any power issues.
