Four-car smash on Coast road

Drivers have avoided injury in a four-car crash along a busy Coast road.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said firefighters were called to Trinder Ave in Maroochydore at 11:56am.

He said four vehicles were involved, but firefighters left the scene as police and paramedics arrived.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics assessed two patients who were in a stable condition.

She said the patients declined transport.

Paramedics have left the scene.

Tow-trucks are currently clearing the road.
