DOZENS of avid golfers hit the Moreton Street course despite the fresh temperatures on Sunday morning.

Local golfing legend Mike Peeck told the Dalby Herald last week, he was excited to get out on the course again after the club closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

"Everyone has really enjoyed getting back out there its really great to see," Peeck said.

After returning from a national golf tournament in March, Peeck was looking forward to a well deserved rest.

"I was looking forward to having a break, obviously it was a little longer thanks to COVID," Peeck laughed.

"Never the less the club has done a great job at supporting it's members and hopefully we can start getting more people through the door."
