Gas leak closes service station and McDonalds

THE Chinchilla BP Service Station and McDonalds are currently closed from a suspected gas leak.

Emergency Services were called to the scene at 9.18am this morning.

Police, Fire and Ambulance Services are currently on scene assessing and waiting for a representative from Origin Energy to arrive.

A 200 meter exclusion zone is in place and the public is being asked to avoid the area.
