Generous act for Dalby medical staff

WITH more and more COVID-19 cases confirmed everyday just an hour away in Towooomba, Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service staff are increasingly under the pump to treat patients and keep the system running.

The staff at Johnhsons Dalby Motor Group put up their hand to thank those in the profession for their sacrifice to the community by providing free coffees.

Principal dealer at Mitsubushi Dalby David Plumb said he thought it was more appropriate than ever to give back to the community.

“All of our medical professionals are doing it tough at the moment,” Mr Plumb said.

“Not only with everything that has been going on with coronavirus, they do an amazing job all year round and we just wanted to say ‘thanks’.”

With many local cafes finding it hard to adapt to the new takeaway restrictions, it also provided support to other locals doing it tough.

“We wanted to help Urban Paddock out because it allows them to provide employment for the staff for the day.”

“Obviously a lot of the medical staff are on shift work, so we will grab one of the cars and head out to those that can’t make it in.”
