A LAIDLEY man has faced the Gatton Magistrates Court charged with unlicensed driving and towing another vehicle, whose occupant was also unlicensed.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Steve De Lissa said on Wednesday, April 13, Bradley James Ennis was stopped by police on Goodwin St, Laidley while towing another car with a quad bike.

Police checks confirmed Ennis was unlicensed and the quad bike was unregistered. It was also reported police had said the quad bike was in "no condition to be registered".

"The driver controlling the car being towed, was also found to be unlicensed," Sgt De Lissa said.

Ennis told Magistrate Damien Carroll he was sorry for his actions.

"It was a stupid mistake your honour. I have since sold the quad bike," Ennis said.

Magistrate Carroll convicted Ennis and fined him $800 for all offences.
