Hipsters 'take it too far' with deconstructed coffee

SOCIAL media has been set alight by a post urging hipsters to stop taking it too far.

Writer and presenter Jamila Rizvi had her Facebook post go viral after she called on the bearded, vintage-loving sub-culture to just stop and think about what they're doing after she was served a "deconstructed coffee".

"Sorry Melbourne but no. No no no no no," she wrote in her post which has had more than 3000 comments.

"Hipsterism has gone too far when your coffee comes deconstructed," she wrote.

"I just waited almost 20 minutes for an actual cup before realising it would not be forthcoming.

"I wanted a coffee. Not a science experiment. I prefer to drink my beverages out of crockery and not beakers.

"Next stage? I'll just get a chopping board with a bunch of actual coffee beans and an upside down hat on it.

"This must stop, dear Melbourne.

"This must stop."
