BRISBANE halfback Ben Hunt could miss two weeks of play after being hit with a dangerous throw charge after Sunday's grand final.

Hunt will only miss one match if he takes an early guilty plea for the grade-two dangerous throw charge for his 77th minute lifting tackle on North Queensland centre Kane Linnett.

Teammate Adam Blair was also charged for his high tackle on Cowboys hooker Jake Granville, however will escape suspension should he take the early guilty plea.
