Queensland unit makes $1 million profit in two years
THE sellers of a luxurious, riverfront apartment in New Farm have made a $1 million profit in just two years.
Occupying a massive 411 sqm on an entire floor, unit 9, 170 Bowen Terrace has just sold for $3.75 million to a local downsizer, realestate.com.au reports.

Records show the property last sold for $2.671 million in December, 2015.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment sits directly beneath the apartment dubbed "Brisbane's best sky home", which sold for a whopping $6.15 million in April this year - one of the most expensive unit sales in the city to date.

The four-bedroom, four-bathroom apartment spanning 670 sqm boasted floor to ceiling views of the Story Bridge even from the master bathroom.
The latest apartment to be resold in the building is also impressive.

Features include an outdoor entertaining terrace with built-in Smeg barbecue, bespoke kitchen with butler's pantry, built-in sound system, fully programmable lighting system and private balconies for every bedroom.
But it's the view from 9/170 Bowen Tce that's worth the big bucks.

Imagine watching the fireworks exploding from the Story Bridge and city skyline from your front row seat on the terrace.
Selling agent Jay McVicker of Teneriffe Realty, who marketed the property with Jennifer Lockley, said the buyer was downsizing from a bigger home in the area.

He said the property was appealing because it felt like a house within a small, boutique building and was perfect for entertaining.
The apartment is only a stroll to James Street and Brunswick Street and offers direct lift access to the new Howard Smith Wharves redevelopment.
