BELOVED Dalby man and long-time business owner Kevin Khazen is closing his menswear store.

Mr Khazen has been in business for 67 years in Dalby, and has been at its current location in Cunningham St for the last half century.

He cited health issues as the reason for closing the store.

As his working days draw to a close, Mr Khazen said he has nothing but respect for the town of Dalby.

"I am very grateful for the town's support for all these years," Mr Khazen said.

"I got no regret. A lot of people have come into the shop to see how I am."

After his near seven decades of experience, Mr Khazen said he had learnt many important lessons about business.

"Be honest with people and don't be so greedy," he said.

His wife Margaret said it had been a pleasure being by her husband's side in Dalby.

"It has been wonderful and the town has always supported us and it has been our pleasure to be able to serve them," she said.

There is no official closing date, however everything in store is now half-price.

"Whatever we don't get rid of will go to charity," Mr Khazen said.
