Lanterns light up the night

SHINING lights from hundreds of lanterns was a sight to be seen on Saturday night.

A sea of hot air balloons and landmarks from around the world lit a path towards Anderson Park for the Delicious and Delightful lantern parade.

Locally made lanterns this year showcased the theme 'Around the World', representing different countries with the spectacular creations.

Always a festival favourite, the lantern parade brings the community together, including everyone from Warrego MP Ann Leahy and Western Downs Councillors Ray Brown and Kaye Maguire leading the march with a world globe, to some of Dalby's littlest members carrying hot air balloon lanterns with their families.
