Lee Lin Chin is 'Lambassador', heads Operation Boomerang
ALL over the world there are Australians who are proudly flying our national flag abroad, bravely risking being away from home on January 26.
For those people - according to newly-minted Lambassador Lee Lin Chin - there is a very real risk of them not having access to lamb on the big day.
In a new campaign by the Meat and Livestock Association, the SBS presenter turned cult icon has launched Operation Boomerang to bring them home.
"Not a char-grilled chop in sight," she said.
"That is no way to spend Australia Day.
"We'll never let that happen to another Australian again."
In London, Brooklyn, Tokyo, Los Angeles, troops attempt to "extract" ex-pat Aussies and bring them back to our promised land.
"Sorry mate, noone retires from backyard cricket," one officer tells a stranded Australia.
One of the great Lambassador campaigners was the late cricketing legend Richie Benaud.
