Mailman arrested after landing gyrocopter on US Capitol Lawn

A MAN with a beef about finance laws flew a gyrocopter through restricted air space and landed on the US Capitol West Lawn.

Media outlets reported mailman Doug Hughes, 61, was arrested after he landed outside the Capitol building with a bag full of letters addressed to every member of Congress urging them to reform finance laws.

The incident triggered street closures around the building and a police investigation.
