AN ELDERLY man has been shot during a break and enter at his home in Ipswich.
Police were called to the incident on Mary Street in Bundamba at 5.20am on Friday morning to find an 86-year-old had been shot in the leg after two men ransacked his home before fleeing.
The man was taken to the PA hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still at the scene and are speaking with witnesses.
