Man airlifted from the scene of a grain truck rollover
A man in his 50s has been airlifted from the scene of a grain truck rollover on a single-lane road near Cecil Plains, South of Dalby, this morning.
It is believed the driver lost control of the vehicle after running off the soft edge of the road.
He was able remove himself from the vehicle.
The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was activated at 8am this morning, and arrived at the accident scene shortly after.
The CareFlight medical crew treated the man for suspected head and shoulder injuries, before transporting him to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
Overnight, the Sunshine Coast RACQ CareFlight Rescue flew to a property north of Gympie to treat and transport a teenage girl who had fallen from a motorbike.
She was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital suffering suspected limb fractures.
