Man on the run in stolen car after attacking woman
A WOMAN is being treated for serious injuries to her face and neck after a man broke into her house and repeatedly attacked her.
Queensland Police said the 25-year-old woman was attacked at a home in Kingston about 12.30am on Saturday.
"It will be alleged around 12.30am a man, known to the woman, broke into the Claudia Street address before confronting the woman and repeatedly assaulting her," QPS said.
"The man stole the woman's vehicle and fled the scene when a light was shone through a window of the home."
QPS have now called for anyone who spots the stolen car to phone 000.
"Police are urging anyone who sees a silver 2006 Ford Territory four wheel drive (similar to pictured) with Queensland registration 662 WWJ not to approach it but to contact 000 immediately," QPS said.
