Man with short-term memory loss missing from care facility

POLICE are seeking public assistance to locate a man missing from Clayfield since yesterday.

Volkert Wienzek, pictured, was last seen at his care facility about 6pm Friday night. Mr Wienzek suffers from short term memory loss and may be in a confused state.

Mr Wienzek is 58-years-old and is described as 175cm tall, medium build with grey hair and beard. He had a dark beanie and dark jacket on.

Police have no further information on his current whereabouts however the last time he went missing he was located in the Logan area.

Police hold concerns for his safety and urge anyone who may have seen Mr Wienzek or have further information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
