Man tried to run neighbour down with 4WD: police

A SYDNEY man who allegedly ran down his neighbour with a four-wheel drive after a dispute has been charged with attempted murder.

A 42-year-old man was hospitalised after being treated at the Lalor Park scene for leg and foot injuries.

Police said he was in a serious condition.

A 24-year-old man was charged with attempted murder, intimidation and traffic offences.

In a separate incident in the same suburb overnight, a 19-year-old was seriously injured after crashing his car into a house. Nobody was home at the time.
