MKR’s Kat and Andre don’t hold any grudges

MY KITCHEN Rules firecrackers Kat Donald-Hill and Andre Pagano don't hold any grudges about how they've been portrayed on the reality cooking show.

The Perth couple has featured prominently on the show for the way they handled the stresses of the show.

Just this week their performance during an airline food challenge was touted as a "Katastrophe".

"There's always got to be a bad guy in these situations; there has always got to be a villain," Kat told APN.

"If that has to be us then that's us. We knew what we got into.

"If we were making a TV show and people gave us as good material as we gave then we'd use it too."

Andre added: "At least they made us memorable characters."

They lost to fellow Perth residents Eva and Debra in last night's sudden-death cook-off.

"We were feeling so overwhelmed by being in sudden death but we just wanted to give it our best," Kat said.

"If we were to leave, then we did not want to go out with all the fireworks and be crazy. It was important for it to be about the food and not our own thing."

Andre has quit his job as a car salesman so he and Kat can explore a future in the food industry.

"We're throwing out a few ideas… it's a good time to move forward," he said.

The remaining six teams will compete for a guaranteed spot in finals week tonight.
