More than $100,000 in cash, cocaine, meth seized in Sarina

MORE than $100,000 in cash, methamphetamines, cocaine, an 'unknown crystalised substance' and three firearms were seized during a raid at Sarina at 6.30am today.

Acting Sgt of Sarina Criminal Investigation branch Andrew McNamara said a 37-year-old man and 25-year-old female were now helping police with the investigation.

"One of the guns was loaded when it was located," Act Sgt McNamara said.

"Currently there were 400g of methamphetamine, 11g of cocaine and 327g of an unknown crystal substance which is to be analysed."

He said the bust would put a dent in the Mackay drug trade.

A 37-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman are currently assisting police with enquiries while investigations continue.
