More of Dreamworld's rides declared safe, now open again
SEVERAL of Dreamworld's larger rides have been cleared to operate by a multi-level safety review.
The Giant Drop (East side), Shockwave, and Hot Wheels Sidewinder have all resumed operation.
The review included investigations by four different organisations: Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, Dreamworld's internal engineering review, Pitt & Sherry's independent review, and an external review by UK based theme park safety specialists, LTC.
Both Dreamworld and WhiteWater World have returned to normal operating hours now that the summer holiday period is over.
In addition to the rides reopening, Australia's first Lego store is set to open tomorrow, January 28.
The store will offer one of the largest ranges of Lego in Australia and will be surrounded by 10 life-size lego models.
