Motorcycle action for the whole family to enjoy

A FAMILY friendly motorbike event will have motors revving at the Dalby Kart Track this weekend as the Queensland Minimoto makes its way to Dalby for the first time.

Organiser Mark Bowden said Minimoto offers a good, safe and fun family atmosphere, with classes for everyone, from the novice rider to the pro racer.

"There's no where really for under-9s to ride bikes to allow them to start off,” Mr Bowden said.

Children as young as six years old can get involved in junior classes, with senior classes open to riders 14 years and over.

Mr Bowden said anyone can get involved over the weekend and the event makes it easy for new people to try out the sport offering the whole package for families who aren't yet ready for the investment.

Pocket bikes are available for hire, and safety gear is available on site.

Minimoto will be at the Dalby Kart Track this weekend, September 7-8.
