Diversion in place at Mt Morgan after fatal motorcycle crash
8pm: DIVERSIONS remain in place on the Burnett Highway as emergency services remain at the scene.
3:17pm: THE driver of the second vehicle involved will be transported to Mt Morgan Hospital for observation by the Queensland Ambulance Service.
A diversion has been put in place by the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service to Fletchers Rd.
2:50pm: THE police will be closing the Burnett Highway, about 15kms west of Mt Morgan, as part of the investigation into a fatal motorcycle accident.
Reports indicate the highway could be closed for a number of hours today.
It is believed one person is dead after a motorcycle and vehicle collided about 100 metres from bridge over the Dee River.
2.35pm: A MOTORCYCLIST is reportedly deceased after a collision with a vehicle on the Burnett Highway.
Reports indicate the crash has occurred 15-20kms west of Mount Morgan on the highway.
Emergency services are on route.
The accident has occurred near a bridge.
