Man in hospital after crash on Warrego Hwy

UPDATE 3.15PM: Paramedics have transported a man to hospital after a traffic crash in Dalby this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the crash scene on the Warrego Hwy about 2.45pm with reports a car and a semi-trailer truck had collided.

Initial reports had suggested the car was blocking the railway lines across the highway but on arrival QFES found the vehicle had hit a power pole.

A QFES spokeswoman said crews secured the crash scene as Queensland Ambulance paramedics treated an injured male motorist.

The occupant of the vehicle had managed to free themselves from the car before crews arrived on scene.

EARLIER 2.50PM: A motorist is trapped in a car blocking railway lines in Dalby, with emergency services en-route to the incident.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are responding to reports a person is trapped in a vehicle after a crash at the corner of Drayton St and the Warrego Hwy at Dalby.

Initial reports suggest the car is blocking a railway line.

The incident was reported to authorities about 2.45pm.
